Could someone please explain how to do that sweet eros flip?? I'm not sure what its called, but your in the eros, and then your outside leg swings upwards and it flips you right side up. Ill go find a vid. I'm always impressed when I see it:)

https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/4578 I would never try this alone or without a crash mat. It is a really scary move and very easy to fall out of.
It might be a good idea to get used to sitting up from brass monkey by hooking your free foot on the pole first. As for the actual movement, there's not really a trick to it, just swing your leg a little to get momentum first. Using a crash mat is a good idea, too- I've had some slips trying the tornado, as it requires a fair bit of knee pit grip.

I've fallen out of this trick more than once lol, and I think what usually happens is I hesitate while I'm going up and leave myself hanging in that kind of unstable grip for too long. You really have to push hard and go for it so you can grab the pole up top.

Your holding on with the INSIDE arm too...not just hanging from the knee pit!!! If you watch the video I posted you see me grab the pole with my inside hand first, THEN flip. If your back knee pit grip is at all slipping don't continue the move.

Agreed! Until she mentioned inside hand placement, I didnt even see it until I went back and watched it again.
I am going to check my old videos. I have never felt sketchy doing this but brass monkey is a really strong move for me. REGARDLESS I will try to remember to use it in the future because I have seen some scary videos of it!
yeah... no. Never used that hand. Leave it to me to make things more difficult!
