Has anyone tried Veenas fabric steam pole cleaning method but with a clothes iron? How did it work?

I have. It works really well. I had to kind of adjust the iron to get it to steam while being in the verticle instead of horizontal position though. Try it out away from the pole first so you can figure yours out. Like Veena cautions, make sure your hand is covered or away before it steams or you can burn yourself.
I just got a new pole and it worked perfectly! I just laid the pole on the floor after I put it all together and used the iron on steam. I would do a section, then roll it over to do the other side. I wish I would've known about this trick when I got my first pole!
