Like a straddle instead of a side split maintaining the same grip? I would say just rotate the hip of the free leg... If you mean a straddle down in a split grip i would take the free leg from the butterfly, wrap it inward around the pole to grip in an inside leg hang position then open up to a straddle from there... Maybe even drop it over to superman afterward...
