Did 'The Hulk' assemble my adjuster cover? New pole woes.

UGH! So I just took my new X Pole out of the box and the adjuster cover is on there so tight I can't get it to budge. AT ALL. So mad. I have this visual of The Hulk tightening it out of spite before it was sent to me. Does anyone have any magic tricks to get it to drop down? I am strong enough to pole hold, plank, and move furniture... but I guess not strong enough to assemble my new X Pole.

I got it and will put this up for anyone that might have a similar issue... I loosened the three screws above the adjuster cover. Then I heated the seam where the adjuster joins the tube with a hair dryer for just few minutes. I used thick rubber gloves because the hair dryer made the metal hot and did a twist.. it dropped right down. Continuing setup... 😁

I've noticed that sometimes I can't unscrew or screw my adjustor cover when the 3 hex screws above are tightened. I also keep my adjustor slightly lubed too.

Thanks! Yes it was quite the learning experience to get that thing undone. I absolutely LOVE my Xpole so it was way worth the frustration! 😁
