Decisions...Decisions...

Ok, I'm about to geek out here... ๐ค I've been playing around with my fiances new macbook Pro. (I currently operate a windows pc). I really like the idea of converting my life to a Macbook. It's got a lot of features I could benefit from. My biggest concern is the imovie software. So far I've made two movies with imovie and have found the only thing I use on a regular basis can't be done- or I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Thats taking pictures from video clips. I can easily do this on my windows movie maker by going to the tool bar and clicking "Tools" and highlighting the option "Take picture from preview". Windows movie maker then creates a picture that I can edit. On imovie, the only way we were to figure out how to do this was to enlarge the movie still frame and then do a "screen shot" with the built in apple picture screen taker capability. To me, this seemed like a tedious task. Is there an easier way of doing this? Also, when I uploaded my imovie to studioveena, I found I had similiar audio issues everyone else has had in the past. (Webmaster was fixing this last night), however when I go to watch my video, the audio drops off after the first 15 seconds. My friend, Megs982 said she was able to watch the movie without a problem. So I updated my flash thinking the system clean up my fiance did on my pc cleaned up my browser but after doing so, I still have the same problem. ๐ค My concerns are if I make this commitment to apple, I just don't want to be limited to what I've been able to do. I am hoping that by upgrading, I will indeed be "upgrading" and not putting myself out from features I was able to do with a pc that when an apple is supposed to be "better" is restricted on. What are all your thoughts as mac vs pc users? I have a feeling Santa is coming early this year... ๐
