Daily newsletter (and forum software)

I have to admit that I registered for the forum a while ago, but I've never used it, as I find the forum software frustrating. Now you are sending out a daily newsletter. I'm not sure I need to know what's going on every day. I get on fine in most other places without a newsletter at all. (might I add that I've been getting the newsletter twice!?) At the bottom of the newsletter it says: "To remove yourself from future mailings Click Here". Which to me means that I can unsubscribe from the newsletter, but still use the site. But no, it takes me to a page where I have to delete me whole account to not receive the newsletter. I will now be adding the newsletter as spam in my email account. I would like to be part of the community, but at the moment, it's not for me.
