Hi Veena Pole Divas, I'm sure I could just go to X-stage and buy some crash mats but I just want to see if you have any recommendations and which ones are the best. My gym will be investing in crash mats and I want ones that you suggest. Thank you <3

Go at least 5" to 6" thick. Those little 2" ones wont do crap if you fall on your head. I have a yoga direct one, which does rip over time, but I got it on discount and it still works. http://www.yogadirect.com/Pole-Crash-Mats_p_33.html They periodically sell ones with manufacturing defects on amazon for cheaper.. amazon.comAmazonAmazongenerally, yes, get thicker ones. we have a 2" one too though, which is great for shoulder mounting with and weaning down to having no mat. :)
Sounds great! I just hope they don't cost an arm and a leg since it's being shipped to Hawaii...but they are a must for the cookoo things I'm trying to learn. Can't land on my tailbone like i did 6 months ago :-(
