Does anyone have any good suggestions for crash mats? I am using my 45mm Xpole on what is essentially thin carpet laid directly on top of concrete, so I am growing more wary of trying inverts knowing how unforgiving the floor is.

I use my daughter's giant pink fluffy bean bag chair. It squishes around enough to be under me as needed and makes for a soft landing. I chose the pink because if I use it outside on my stage pole black gets HOT! and I chose 4inches because I had exactly 8in clearance under the bed in the spare bedroom. HOWEVER Its slightly more than 4inches so it didn't fit when folded. :/ I'd have to really compress it and force it and I didn't want it to rip, so I didn't bother. I like it a lot though and I got rid of that bed anyway for more space. I'm not sad I didn't get the 5inch one, it's already huge and I've flopped onto it a bunch from pretty high and been just fine. :)
