Competitions - Pros and Cons

Hi Veeners!  I am arranging the first annual Colorado Pole Championship in September, and while everything has been going great with the planning and everything else I would love to get some input both from those of you who have competed before, and those of you who have attended competitions/showcases/pole events. (No need to name names - I am not interested in any one competition, only your experiences with them:) Competitors: Is there anything you have found at competitions that you wished would have been there/done differently/changed/removed? What's something that's been great that you would love to see at all competitions/events? What can I as an organizer do to make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible for my competitors, and that everyone has an enjoyable experience?  Attendees:  What do you love about the competitions (or showcases) you have watched/attended? What are the best parts, and what are things you wish could have been done differently? What are the most important things for you in order to have fun at a pole event? What are things that you have found weird/questioned/been annoyed at that you would like to see changed?  Basically I would love any and all feedback you can give me on the good and bad of competitions.
