For "uber-sweaty hands" I would suppose that TG is the way to go. Chromed stainless steel is obviously not working for you and if it's causing you to lose interest in poling altogether then I would definitely give TG a try. If there is a studio in your area it's possible they may have a titanium or brass pole that you could get a practice run on before you make a final decision on your purchase.
Other than that, I would like to say that pole dancing is a process. I have had to wipe my pole down a lot depending on room temperature, how long I've been practicing, my mood at the time, or for no apparent reason at all. Some days, though, I just stick perfectly...I don't know how to explain it. I was frustrated a lot when I first started because I had to wipe my pole down after just about every move I'd attempt, but I kept at it and now that problem has subsided dramatically. Typically I only have to wipe the pole down every twenty to thirty mins now.
If you have a real prob with your hands being too sweaty, I don't see why you couldn't try some sort of gripping solution. At least you could hold yourself up there long enough to learn some moves, work on your form, and build your strength. Once you've achieved that you can tackle spin-mode more comfortably and can use all the gripper you want and still spin.
I really hope that you'll stick with your pole long enough to stick to it. You will it just takes time, persistence, and endurance. If you use it for at least a half hour everyday it will break in faster than six months. I've had mine for four months and it's getting better everyday...either that or I am. I can't be sure, but please don't get discouraged. There are ways around the sweaty hands prob, girl, and maybe it is as simple as getting a TG pole. Try before buying if you can!
Best of luck to you. 🫡 👍
