   So my hands are very very dry, they hardly ever sweat. I have a ss and chrome. I stick to the chrome better it is hard on the ss I have to wet my hands and legs. I want a new pole and I was thinking about getting the brass? Or should I just get another chrome? I just need a sping pole that I can grip cause my chime pole I have don't spin. And the ss is a pain

   Have you grip aids? Mighty grip and Firm Grip are good for hand grip. It's cheaper than getting a new pole. I did an entry recently on the different pole materials: http://flexines.blogspot.com/2013/01/what-pole-material-do-i-get.html When your thumb and pointer finger together, is they any friction, or do they slide around alot? Can you open produce bags easily? or do your hands slip and slide all over it? I ask this becasue I had very frictionless hands for a while, and had a hard time grabbing any pole other than brass. Brass was still slidy, but not as bad as the other metals.

   Mistress, Infinity in CBus has brass poles.  You might want to check them out before making an investment.  Personally brass is as temperamental for me as stainless is.   For grip aids I also like a product called Liquid Grip.  Mighty Grip does not work for me much because on top of my hands being drier they are also typically on the cold side.  That does not allow for the thermoplastic to do what it needs to do.

   Yes I have been there and no I can't open a bag with licking them. I remover thinking that when I would do like a static spin that it felt like I had toile sure my hand came down with my body to the floor so mabe it was to much of a grip?

   Sorry about spelling I'm on my iPhone lol I mean I have to wet my hands if I was to open a plastic bag and I remember thinking that my hand would get stuck at the place where I griped and I had to make sure it came down with my body

   I also reached a grip aid called mist it's for dry hands it comes as a spray and three different leaves so ill try that first but I do want another pole that spins

   So I just read your blog it really helped me out so brass is not for me and if I get another pole it will most Likely be TG or chrome. I like the grip that I get with chrome but my chrome pole dose not spin. And I kind of wanted a little more of a grip that probably could be fixed with an aid. Thank you lady's for all your help your blog really is awesome I think that anyone that needs answers got buying a pole should read it!

   Hi Pole Happy Sarah, I'm so with you on making the final decision. I'm going to invest in the X-Pert but here are my issues: I live in California where the air is dry (it's a desert, no humidity). I tend to have dry skin. When I get warmed up, I go from dry slippery pole to sweaty palms. Ugh. I sold the chrome X-Pert because cold, it's SO slippery. I've danced on random brass poles and liked the stickiness of brass. Also, some stainless have been grippy but not all stainless (the metal gets worn and improves over time, perhaps?) Seems that certain stainless poles can feel slippery like chrome. That's if it comes polished!  Never tried titanium and the X-Pole show room doesn't have a sample pole to actually test out in brass or titanium but I'm leaning towards those. Yeah, overgrip hurts but pole just hurts. I'd rather stick than slip. I have yet to try a grip product. Have heard mixed reviews. Seems all these factors come down to individual chemistry works with some things and not others and you just have to see. Am I right? Hard decision! Good luck! Feeback welcome from all.  -Andie
