choreography

Hi All I have a few questions that I hope you can help me with, I was wondering about choreography. Does it come naturally or is it something you can learn from listening to music and getting to know your moves better? I'm fine with free dance for a couple of minutes but then I don't know what to do. I've been poling for about 6 months but only seriously for about 6 weeks. Thanks Anna
