Ceiling issues

Hey all, I have a bit of a problem and was wondering if anyone else has had the same thing. I'm moving into a new apartment which has a 12'1 ceiling and I have no idea how to go about choosing extensions for my x pert to make it as safe as possible any combination I've tried is either way too short or too big :( And to think I was so excited about having all that extra climbing room :'(
