so the lady that has the 3 year old X Pole spinning/static 50mm pole agreed to outright trade the pole for some of my extra horse equipment and a MK purse i have and dont use!!! awesome deal right?? we meet up this weekend the only "flaw" is the ceiling mount has a dent. no biggie.

OK, I don't want to rain on your parade, but ask for a picture of the other side of the dome. There should be a white sticker with a serial number. The only thing that threw up red flags to me is that XPole has not made the screw together poles for more than 3 years, which means that pole is either a fake or much older than 3 years. I hope that indeed it is real but I also do not want you to trade things that may be worth more than the pole.
Just looked at the Craigslist ad again. My mistake! It says "about 4 years old"
