Bum X-Joint in my new X-Pert :(

Sooo... after waiting 3 weeks for my new X-Pert to arrive (backordered and 6 days for Fed Ex) I am sadly disappointed to discover that I have a defective X-Joint. 😈 Customer service was kind enough to troubleshoot with me and asked me to take some photos of the half open/half closed joint. It probably would not bother me so much if the convention was not this weekend and I was not paying to take a class with Sally Ann Giles. My skills are mediocre at best and I was hoping to have at least a few days this week to work on something... anything. Ugggg!!! I'm so frustrated and feel like crying. I just want to pole daggone it!!! I have yet to receive a return call from X-Pole, but hopefully they can get me a new joint ASAP. Regrettably, it won't be in time for the convention. 😢

Ughhh, I sooooo feel your pain - my pole is evil 😈 and always seeming to find ways to disappoint me. What was the deal with your X-Joint - did it have the flush or in-set circle things? My X-Joint between poles A & B was bad, so I swapped it out with the longer X-Joint that was supposed to be used with the longer ceiling extension (since I wasn't using it anyway, my ceilings are only 8 ft., so I use the shorter extensions). Sorry to hear about your bum part - but on the other hand, also a bit relieve that I am not the ONLY one with bum parts.

Thanks for your sympathies 🙂. I did receive a call from Heydi and she's sending me a new A/B X-Joint. My ceilings are 9 feet, so I use all the included parts. Although my pole won't be functional until Friday, I'm feeling better thanks to X-Pole's high-quality customer service and willingness to help me out. That makes all the difference!

Man, what's with all the issues with the xpert!!! I was going to get one but I've definitely been holding off b/c of this. I sold my old one so that I could try out the new xpert and now I want it back!! Sorry bout all this Cinnamon, but you'll be fine with Sally Ann. I did a pole jam with her a year ago and she's great. She's got a killer spin she calls the Angel which is basically a no handed corkscrew! Ask her to demo it, it's awesome! Anyway, she works with all levels and makes you feel comfortable. I always take notes at workshops so I remember everything for the next time I'm able to get on a pole.

Well, in the pole’s defense, I think Momma Bear and I just got gimped poles. It’s 2 out of thousands, so I can live with those odds. Plus X-Pole’s customer service was absolutely wonderful and they are even express delivering my joint so that I have a little time for pole play before the convention. Speaking of, I am SOOOOO excited to go. I was not until a few hours ago when I was trying on some outfits to wear to the party tomorrow. Also, I love, love, LOVE watching Sally Ann. She’s thick like me with a little meat over her muscles and I like that. So many of the pole stars are so slim and beautiful with thin legs and arms—not that there’s ANYTHING wrong with that, it’s just my body type is muscular with curves so I will never look like that. Plus in her interviews she notes that she doesn’t take her poling too seriously, so she’s my kind of girl!!! I cannot wait to meet other Veneers and be in the presence of so much positive energy. 🤸

I also wanted to share a bit about my new Xpert. My B Pole was bent and caused the pole to kind of wobble (I don't know how exactly to explain it). However, I was so impressed with Xpole's customer service. Heidi was so helpful and handled my problem very promptly. I live in Germany right now (Military) and I received a replacement B pole within a week. All I had to do was send them a picture of the bent pole where the light was coming through underneath it. Angel, like Cinnamon said, it's only a few out of thousands. I don't think X-pole makes bad products it's just that sometimes things are defective even when they are brand new. I would not hesitate to purchase another X-pert from them at all. And actually, I've been thinking of getting a TG X-pert because I get so sweaty and it's hard for me to grip the Chrome sometimes. Cinnamon, I hope your new joint gets to you in lightning speed 🧿
