I love my pole bruises. It shows that I am learning new moves and doing things right. But with spring/summer coming up in Texas, I cant hide them at work anymore with pants. What do you girls do to prevent bruises? Minimize bruising? Or hide bruises?

I live in the Caribbean. I just walk about with bruises showing. Nobody mentions it. They either don't notice or care, or they don't want to mention it. Mostly I think people just don't look that hard.
I have balms and creams but I never use them. Too much work and I always forget. I got traumheel (my fav) and tiger balm (ok, but it's scented and also stains) I think anything with arnica is good. I find a good tan helps. Pale legs show so much more!!! Though I can't wear short sleeves or shorts/skirts to work so I'm ok at work. I agree that they don't look that professional depending on what your job is.

Traumheel is great. I also find that lightly massaging the area right when I get the bruise helps it.

I've been using Boiron Arnicare Arnica Gel and it's been amazingly helpful (never tried Traumeel but think it's very similar). I take medication for arthritis which causes to bruise very easy so I depend heavily on the gel. Additionally, I ice as much as possible, bought reusable ice bag from Amazon for only $5, money well spent:).

It's been a while since I've bruised (I'm currently 8 months pregnant - so can't try any new moves) but I use to eat a lot of pineapple when I was training before I got pregnant. Pineapples contain an enzyme called bromelain that can help dissolve blood clots and fade bruising. I also drunk plenty of water and in extreme cases I used Arnicare Cream.
