I don't have the availability of shopping nearby in person for boots that go higher for a little larger calves. I do shop online though but am afraid without already knowing for sure that they probably will fit. Can anyone advise from experience? thanks sooo much

I shop for most of my shoes/boots here: http://www.pinkstilettoshop.com A lot of the boots lace AND have the side zip which makes them easy to adjust for leg width. But when in doubt as long as it is a lace up boot you shouldn't have problems. I highly recommend the website tho. Oh thank goodness someone else has bigger calves! I'm a great size but my legs are just built thicker!! I went to the store today to find PVC boots that lace and zip and none of them fit my lower leg!! The laces were kind of just for show I think. If anyone does have thicker legs but have found kick ass PVC boots, PLEASE let me know.

I have really big calves too (thank you years of dance and martial arts!) I have always had really good luck with the Pleaser boots. As long as they are the zip-up/lace up style I can do alright. That's not to say that when I take them off I don't have lace markings on my legs, I defiantly do, but they don't hurt while I wear them or once I take them off.

The boots that I have on in my avatar have ribbon laces on both sides plus they zip up the back. They are very corset-like in the way they fit, plus you can buy all colors of ribbon and change them out to match your outfit. They come with black, pink and red ribbons already. The only complaint that I have about these is that I have a gap down near the ankle where the lacing ends. I tried having the bows at the top of the boot but the gap looked funny to me. The bow really needs to be at the bottom to cover it up. BTW, they are Penthouse Chasity. Penthouse is made by Ellie so if you know what size you wear in Ellie.... I have really small chicken legs so I have always had a problem finding boots that don't sag on me 🙁 Do you have any boots that fit good Empy? My calves are pretty slim...always been my slimmest body part but my main problem is that my feet are SO big that most shoe manufacturers seem to think if you have big feet you must have big calves so boots seldom fit right. I wear a size 11 in boots (10 in street shoes) and the calves are always big. Not sure that's going to be a good comparison for you because I guess it partially depends on what size shoe you wear? Maybe? My calf is 13.5 inches. In Ellie boots, I have a pair of knee highs called "Lori" style number 551. They fit OK but not "tight". I still have to watch my grip when I invert and allow for some slippage but they aren't actually baggy around the ankle or calf. Just not skin tight.

My calf is like 15 inches around.
Carrie...just for comparison I would say that the Lori boot by Ellie would fit but it would be tight - although that pair stretches as one of my instructors probably has about the same size thigh or larger and she got the same pair. I could ask her to measure her calf. I would say that the pink Pleaser boots I linked would fit fine since they are adjustable and already slightly loose on me.

Thanks everyone! It's so hard to order boots online 'cause you've gotta get the shoe size right and also the leg size right! I'll give it my best go and see how it works out!
Also if you find a pair of boots that almost fits you should see if your local shoe repairman can stretch them. They often have steamers and they steam it then expand it. I have had this done to two pairs that were just slightly too small

I've always had thicker calves and no matter where I looked, I couldn't find knee-high boots for casualwear. So when I wanted some for pole dancing, I thought I'd be out of luck. With the help of my instructor, I picked a pair of Pleaser knee-high boots that have interchangeable tongues (variety of colors!), lace up the front and also have a zipper on the side.. they're in the "Delight" style so they have the thinner heel.. Pleaser makes a chunkier heeled version too. Good luck in your search!! Post a picture when you get a pair. 🙂
