Body wave kick maybe?

Hi, was wondering is there a video that teaches us similar to the body wave, but more in the leg? (I'm unsure of the name sorry) I watched a video of someone holding their leg to the side and waving it and it looked great. I just don't know what I'm doing when I attempted it haha. Thanks.
