Hi, getting a new pole soon, wondering which brand is the best out there any why? How are the x-poles these days, I have an x-pole which I bought 4 years ago which I've had no problem with (apart from peeling). So any recommendations is appreciated.

If it helps at all, I got an Xpert 50mm a couple of weeks ago and I love it to bits :) admittedly I have heard a fair few people say they have problems with the Xpert, and I've only used mine twice, but so far it's perfect - easy to put up (even for a very clumsy/DIY challenged person like myself), sturdy, spins really well - and, surprisingly, pretty grippy! Which is a nice bonus :)
Hi thanks for replying. That is the pole I'm thinking of getting an xpert but a 40mm in chrome. Only thing is I've heard abit of bad reviews about it.
All 4 companies are good. i did a blog on them last week. http://flexines.blogspot.com/2013/02/what-pole-brand-is-for-me.html In Europe you have some other ones like R pole.
btw, I am taking pictures of a 38 this Friday withthe 40mm and 50mm and will write about them next week hopefully.
