Hi everyone, has anyone used this or the intermediate dvd? Has anyone revued it? I am thinking of buying it but just wondered how it is before I spend so much? Thanks

honestly I was disapointed with it, I bought the entire set, and all had the same warm up and cool down, then 5 combos a piece, I did like the combos since i'm not great at that, but it's the teaching style i don't love, i find it hard to learn some of the moves she teaches but, i love her style so I'm not really too disapointed.
I think you might like The Art of Pole series by Jamllia.You can buy them one at a time also so the investment is small.Are you going to any studios?
But really the best lessons are the ones that Veena gives.She really walks you through all the moves from beg.to advanced.THE BEST INVESTMENT!!! 😉
Thanks so much! I am taking some lessons and have the basics down. I really need to learn how to put some stuff together to make it flow. I'm basically a beginner but have a dance background so am more interested in learning how to put something together. I've learned a few combos in my classes but nothing much on the floor. I did sign up for veena's lessons and am working through them. I would say I'm moving into the intermediate stuff now. Just looking for something I can use to learn some transitions that are more than just the basics..
I've seen at least 20 pole dvds. My favorites are Vertical Dance, Art of Pole, and Leigh Ann's. I feel the others DVDs are ok but these 3 are must haves. Veritcal Dance- is a great one for beginners and covers lots of spins AOP doesnt have. Even though I had AOP I preferred this one to start with. AOP- covers everything up to advance and is very detailed. Safety as well. The warm ups and body conditioning are excellent and change as you progress, as I think they should. It covers spotting as well. Leign Ann- while not the best with instructions is good for learning how to dance and put moves together. I personally love her style so that may be another reason I like them. Hope that helps. If have any questions about them, let me know.
I currently have all three of Leigh Ann's vids. I bought them last weekend after attending her workshop. Mostly I love her style. The beginner vid is very basic but it has 5 combos in it which help when you are standing at the pole with no idea what to do ( happens to me all the time) I don't know muc how to be all sexy so watching the "stripper walk" in the beginning and how to crawl I think will help me out a lot. I did not know how to walk or crawl before this. I like the hip rolls and drops in the combos aw well as on back arch to the floor in one of the combos. Overall I love her vds, they can be a bit hard to follow because I don't have a background in dance but that just means I have to watch them over and over which I don't mind. I like them so thumbs up. I also have the art of pole. The art of pole is more just moves. I didn't learn many transitions that I can remember but I did learn lots of spins and inverts. SO thumbs up on hers too. I think her vids lean more toward gymnasticability (if that's a word) than sexy dance like Leigh Ann's hope that helps
