Yesterday I finally progressed to the Elite level of my pole school. I feel major intiminated by the girls there and after one hour struggling on the Aerial handspring, I feel I am back to the under dog again, actually I always feel I am the under dog in pole. I don't know how to look at myself objectively. Any advice?

Try to enjoy the journey, not the destination. I'm impatient, so I tend to want to learn everything NOW, but I make myself stop and watch videos of when I was learning a trick and I get a great sense of pride when I see what I overcame. I try to believe that if everything in pole came so easily, I wouldn't enjoy it as much. Hope that helped.
Do you realize that you said you are working on an aerial handspring but you feel like an under dog? Aerial. Handspring. This is not even remotely an easy trick. Think of all of the people in the world that wouldn't even be able to hold themselves up for a fireman spin and you have progressed all the way to working on an aerial handspring. Be proud of how far you've come! You are in the Elite group now, in a very difficult acrobatic sport. Just revel in that! 🥂
I second what's already been said. You are now classed as being ELITE! Which is amazingly awesome! You've progressed through the other stages, reaching the top of them and you'll reach the top of this one too. I make compilation videos of each months practice so i can look back and see the work in progress and smile at how crap i was at some things, then feel good because one month on and I've nailed it :)
Thanks ladies! I am determine to catch up and conquer aerial handspring. I wonder what is it like to feel like a top dog one day?
