Back pain.

Hello ladies. This is my first time starting a thread and I hope to get feedback from someone who has gone through this before. About a month ago I was trying to do the scorpio for the first time and as I slid down the pole I losened my leg grip too early because I thought that i was an inch away from the floor. Well, I guess I wasn't so close because I actually almost fell on my butt. What saved me was that i grabbed the pole with my hands and held myself up. The problem was that I got this bad muscle cramp from the sudden movement. It is on my mid to upper back between my spine and my scapula. A week later when I tried inverting the pain came back. I've been letting my back rest a whole week before trying to invert and the pain still comes back. It feels like it may be a pulled muscle so this time I'm trying to let it rest for at least two weeks before inverting. I'm so stressed about this!!!!! All my progress will be lost by the time I recover and now I'm afraid that this will be something that won't go away. Has anyone else gone through this? If so how long did it take to completely go away?? I love poling and would hate to not be able to move on to more advanced moves.

I tried monday to invert again. 🤔 Area is still sore. 👎 I was able to invert but it seems like my strength is a lot less then before in the injury. 😢 I guess it needs more time. Glad to hear you guys are recovering. 🥂
