Hey everyone, So I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me that I have Arthrtis in my hands 😢 It dosn't bother me to bad except for in the mornings when I wake up and when I have been on the pole for a while. I was just wondering if anyone on here has Arthritis, and if so what do you do to help it other than medicine?

i battled for a year to get diagnosed ,in the end i got diagnosed with fibromyalgia ,hypermobility syndome and cant remeber the name but i have bone loss in my lower back . symptons mimic rheumatiod arthritis as yours is hands i will stick to my hands ,my grip was awfull my hand would ache holding a hairdryer or trying to pour gravy from a jug and my hands would shake where they so strained ....iv had many diff meds painkillers,sleeping pills etc .when i got my pole i was worried id have trouble but since doing it for a while my grip is stronger and i actually have flare ups less 😀 mine is actualy my nerves and sending pain messages when there is no pain and muscle pain and not the joints so i cant really comment on what will help you .but just wanted to reply to you and let u know your not alone .you will have days or weeks or even months where apart from a light ache your hands dont hurt to much then u will have flare ups these are crappy but dont beat yourself up over what u can or cant do while having one ..its easier when arthur is visiting to let him have his way 🙂 pill wise its trial and error find ing what works best for u but u will get there xxxxxx ps my spelling is awfull sorry
