Anyone Interested in a meeting of Veeners on the East Coast?

While a bunch of people are away in dreary Las Vegas and the boring Pole Expo, I am here in North Carolina. I know there are other people who could not make it to Pole Expo because of travel, cost, time or whatever. Was wondering if people on the East coast of the US would be interested sometime of a get-together or gathering with all of us from SV? Could be at a pole studio, hotel or meeting room. There are a number of possibilities of what to do or offer. A lot depends on how many would attend and where it would be located. Anyone interested?

If I was there right now, it would be a blast. I am not at Pole Expo, so very boring. Since I know other people even yourself that could not make it there, thought maybe we could do our own scaled-down version. Maybe a Veena Expo. It was an idea.

Not sure how long you're here or what part...I'm in Raleigh if you're interested in meeting up. I know plenty of polers! There are 3 average sized studios around here.

Doesn't have to be in the Carolina's. I have a car and not afraid (maybe a little) of getting on a plane. Would like to see if people have an area preference or where most are coming from. I also might have access to meeting locations for free or almost through a client. Would be nice to meet the people on the other side of the monitor and share in real life pole info, skills & everything else. Maybe a mini-competition. If we had enough people interested could do other things, setup our own workshops or have one of the stars of the pole world attend.

I like this idea! I would love to go to Pole EXpo but I pretty much only travel up & down the east coast for cost reasons. But let me know what I can do to help you get this started!

I'd be very interested in meeting somewhere on the East Coast. It'd be nice to have a small get-together of veeners and family members. We could have a small competition and maybe even have someone cater the event. It'd be nice if we could do it at the hotel simply because if it was a weekend event, we'd have somewhere to stay/sleep. Also be nice if we could get a discount based on the number of people we have attend. If we have people donate poles, stage poles or portable poles (I'd be bringing my stage pole) it'd be easy to get a few poles up for a competition or a few lessons, etc. I'd be interested in helping plan this event/fundraising for the event. Maybe we can even get Veena out to visit for our event. Anyway, great idea Webjunk. I really encourage others to partake and to help with this. Us "East-Coasters" would love to have an event like this and it would really help to fellowship & meet other Veeners/pole enthusiasts. I'm very excited about it. Let me know where I can assist you or anyone. Again, superb idea!

I'm in upstate new York and we have no studios and I was unable to go to the expo and was so sad! I would love a Veena meet up!

I'm on Long Island, just outside of NYC. I teach at a studio called Body Mind and Pole. It's beautiful, has one 40mm and the 7 other poles are 45s. I know we could pole jam there for the cost of renting the studio hours....thoughts? www.bodymindpole.net

I would love this! I live in RI near Boston, but if it was northeast id love it! Even if I couldn't attend I think this is a great idea. :)

I live in PA an hour north of Harrisburg,PA and also will be living part time at rehoboth beach,DE. A get together would be fun. Hope it can happen!
