I don't like that she named this move after herself. I have seen other people do it, and it's just a superpain variation. Not sure why everyone and their mom is blowing up about this move.
hmm well ive never seen it before. so thats all i have to say about that. lol
Love this! Tried it Friday, mega fail!
Love this! Tried it Friday, mega fail!
I'll try to find a clip of Lindsay doing it. She's the one who showed it to me months ago.
Its really nice! I think its hard to create a brand new move, so if I ever thought I did, I wouldnt dare to call it, my own name. I havent seen this one before, but I want to learn it! :D
i love this
Roughly Two years ago I saw Sarah Jade and Alethea playing around with a very similar move in an NYC workshop. The hold/POC are exactly the same, her variation appears different only in the off arm and leg from what I can see.
and even if it is "just " a superman variation, i still think its pretty! i love bendy back tricks
Very pretty!
Pixi- have you tried it yet? I tried at the end of my practice and found it harder than superman lol! I'd love to trade tips,,tricks and pointers on this one :)
charley no i havent but i am itchin to try!! oh im sure u'll have it the next time around! i bet it is harder than superman, i will keep up with u on this move :)
and i love the fact that in her pics of it, her hands reach below her knees, really pretty bend there
I tried it yesterday. I hadn't done much research though so I didn't reach Nearly as far down as Anastasia, but I got the mechanics. Will try again tomorrow with *Hopefully* more bend! Will include my first attempts in the video I am about to upload :)
ya PA my goal ultimately is to reach as far as her!
Where can I view this new trick?
on anastasia's facebook page
tried this move today too and fail, gonna try again tomorrow. I have to back for it, just gotta get the mechanics down
Ani! Your Anastasia looked good! That's way farther than I got! Love it! :)
Thanks Charley! I am going to try it again tomorrow. See if I can eek out any reach lol. :D
I tried this today it's harder then it looks and my back isn't flexible enough to make it look good lol
I tried and can only get the first half of the trick - when I try to grab the bottom leg I fall. I think my point of contact on the arm isn't quite right... In the album of people doing it it looks almost like wrist/forearm...
speaking of anastasia, have you seen this new cocoon variation?? wow! i love it and looks alot harder than a regular cocoon- if anyone can do this please share!! i want to see how to get inot it. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151569233119454&set=pb.244626999453.-2207520000.1369053702.&type=3&theater
you guys are right, its pretty hard, lol charley my attempts are uploaded. and i agree with you, great work PA. kyrsten i know what you mean, its hard to get your legs spread farther to get a lower reach, when i open up my legs, i slip.
I love this trick . Anastasia makes this look super easy (as it seems to be just an superman variation) but the amount off back flexibility here is easily underestimated. I tried it and got the first part but was struggling to grab my second leg without falling off the pole. But now i m motivated to get there and increase my back flexibility ;)
