Ametuer Night

was wandering if anyone has done an ameuter night? have been curious about it for some time now but cant seem to find any info about ones in Rhode Island or Mass. from lots of other areas but nothing around here. also don't know what to expect. have seen some videos out here from ametuer nights and the girls are doing moves that look very advanced and professional. am not going to make money as much as to experience this once in my life and get over the curiosity.. if anyone could give me any advice or suggestions would be helful

pole-twista, i've been thinking about thsi for over a year! ive searched in my state for amateur nights, even up in canada but i can't find anything near me!!!!! i want to experience something like that too; i dont know much about them, but i did hear that it's best if you look like you're having an ABSOLUTE BLAST while you're up there, and to look sad when your turn is over, like you were really into it and dammit my turn is over ALREADY???? im not sure if that's what you really do during your turn on an amateur night but i've heard those tips before.

I don't think I would have to fake a thing when i dance it's like i'm in my own world anyone who has gone out dancing with me knows things that are happening right in front of me are totally lost on me especially if it's a song I love I'll be out on the dance floor with my eyes closed totally immersed in the music and movement Would love to have the chance just once to be on stage with an audience had the chance 10years ago ( i had just turned 19 i just turned 29 ) but had never touched a pole and was way too shy now I'm older, feel confident on the pole and in general 🥂 I thought it would be so easy to find and sign up for an amateur night but can't find anything even sort of in my area ( dont mind traveling a little, but not to say Boston which is an hours drive) have tried web sites, citysearch ect if anyone has any ideas how to locate and get info on amateur nights (dates/times/rules) it would be a great help thanks! 😀

I'm not sure what clubs you have in your area, but Deja Vu will normally hold an ammeter night depending on how busy the club is. I would say call around to the clubs in your area and ask. It is a little time consuming, but it might be worth it.

I don't really know of any clubs in general area guess time to break down and find a phone book time consuming yes worth it probably if i get to do it 😀 thanks

well still no luck getting any info on amateur nights around here there are 2 clubs I know of, but can't seem to get to there web pages or get any info on anything frustrating thought would be very easy to go to web pages and get some idea if this is even possible didnt really want to do this at the 2 I know b/c so close to home/work I know alot of people who go there but would if could just get some dates/timrs/rules ect 😈 have tried googling, citysearch, typing in names, ect well if anyone has any ideas please pass them along I will keep looking and hopefully will have some better news soon 👍 anyone have any pole events/competitions coming up?

I've always wanted to do it but my boyfriend would probably be really mad at me hahaha...I'm surprised you guys aree having such a hard time finding something, there are tons here in Chicago!

Let's go Taylor, We'll take a serious road trip and call it the "Amateur Night or Bust!!" ( no pun intended 😉 ) Something to tell the grandkids about someday Well I'm going to keep trying I'll use it for inspiration to try to get some new moves down am going to try to video some practice so I can atleast have something to post for now ☀️ Will let you know if I come across any helpful websites 🫡

lol!! i'm down for that!! i have like this crazy resolution thing aside from my normal resolutions- like do one crazy thing this year that you normally wouldn't do. i think an amateur night is gonna be my crazy resolution. 🙂 i asked my friend if he knew of any amateur nights in canada- he's gonna get back to me later this week, i'll let you know what i find out. good luck with your new routines!! cant wait to see the videos!

Thanks ya can't wait for bf to go so can get upstairs and put the music on ready to dance away a bad day and hope to get a good video while I'm at it well have always wanted to see Canada guess that would be 3 things in one for me dance on stage, road trip, and see Canada 🥂 Will have to figure out the camera before than! LOL 😂

LOL you guys should both come down here, the three of us can all go together and hit up different clubs so we aren't competing against each other hehehee 🙂

hey count me in! i only live a couple hours from canada!!! but hopefully where u are the age for the clubs are 18 or 19 because im only 19 haha 😳 😁 thats what sux bout here gotta be 21 🙄

I have 2 weeks vacation to take before september I can only take 1 week at a time and need a months advance notice for it to be approved I do plan on a road trip this year one way or the other so let me know ☀️

The studio I frequent is having an amateur night. It's not like it would be at a bar or club though. Only women are allowed to attend and it's not a competition. I tell people its more like a recital full of half naked women 😂 I'm still going to perform though! I'm pretty excited about it too! I'm dancing to Dirty Diana and I'm hoping to nail the twisted grip handspring by then so I can incorporate it into my routine. I can do it about 95% of the time with my shoes off and about 65% of the time with them on. The show isn't until the 17th so that gives me about 3 more weeks to get it together! Wish me luck 🙂
