I have an older x pole (top loading) and I lost the allen key that puts it in spinny mode. does anyone know if I can find it at a hardware store or if I have to get one from x pole? If I can, what size is it? Thanks a bunches!

hardware stores will be fine for getting a new key - you just need to know the size (blu-tac / kids play-dough could be useful!! lol) alternatively ask friends and family if they have any in their garages - i keep losing mine but have gathered so many from flatpack furniture that it isn't a problem!!
The hardware store will have it. I forget what size I got. You could always just take the base with you if no friends have allen key set that you can borrow. It's a bit bulky, but then you know it works.
Thanks. I think blu tac will work great to figure out the size, I never thought of that.
My daughter lost mine and i bought an entire Allen Key set that has 20 different sizes (comes in handy, believe me!) for $5.
