Advice/opinions needed!

Hi everyone! My friend and I are doing a doubles routine in our society's end of year pole competition - we're thinking of it as a showcase rather than a competition as such, not expecting to win anything :) but I would like some opinions about the theme of our routine. We're doing it to Michael Buble's rendition of the Spiderman song - it's a really jazzy/swingy piece and the choreography is looking good so far! However, we've got so caught up in the feel of the song that we kind of forgot that it is still the spiderman theme! Here it is on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfdTjXDUlnY&feature=youtube_gdata_player So my question is, would it be weird if we DIDN'T have spiderman-themed costumes and moves? I think it's a great song in its own right, but I'm wondering if people (i.e the audience) would be like 'Why are they dancing to the spiderman song when their routine is nothing to do with spiderman?' We've made sure the moves follow the music really nicely, but I'd like to know what you guys think :)
