adjuster cover on xpert pole

I'm starting to wonder whether I set my xpert pole up in a wrong way. At the bottom of the pole there's the adjuster cover. It is only screwed up and not tight. I thought it should be set up this way, but now I started learning the caterpillar and butterfly and when I use my right hand at the bottom I grip the adjuster cover and it starts unscrewing and gets loose 😲 So for now I'm only using my left hand at the bottom (it's my weaker side), which just tightens the cover so I have some kinda grip there ... I could also work around it by doing an air invert so I'm higher up on the pole, but I'd prefer learning new moves closer to the ground 😀 My question is, is this normal? Or did I do something wrong when I set my pole up? I can't imagine that it's safe to grip the pole there when you just tighten the cover a bit more ...
