A & B poles not aligned.

Hey! I've written x-poles about this issue (their customer service is awesome), but in the interim I figured I'd ask youse this. My A & B poles are not aligned with the screw holes where the x-joint is. The B pole has moves slightly, so I there isn't enough room to get the hex key in to loosen, and the A pole apparently wasn't tightened at all, as it has twisted at least an inch away from the screw (making it impossible to adjust it, as the screw hole isn't accessible) anyone had this problem? I've lowered the pole and am having a hell of a time trying to twist the poles to align with the x-joint. I'm Super Frustrated. 😈

welcome to probably the #1 issue with the new xpert. I've had it happen twice. And its a pain in the butt, and until i realized i REALLY had to tighten those hex nuts it was going to continue twisting

Oh crap.... so it's a problem with the pole. Thank goodness it's not me (I thought I screwed up)

I had the same problem. This is what I did, and it worked perfectly. I took a broom and unscrewed the handle from it. I shoved it into the pole up to the jam. The then used a hammer to bang the handle until the other end popped out. No damage to anything. Perfect condition.

I don't think the broom handle jiggly will work for me. The A and B poles are pretty long, making it problematic in retrieving the x-joint.

My A pole and B poles are the same size, and it worked for me.

I can not separate my A&B poles at all. 😈 Therefore using a broom to dislodge the x-joint is futile. I've e-mailed x-poles and have not received a response; I will call again tomorrow.

Call Heydi! She was super helpful with me on the phone today when I called bc my B pole was stuck to my x-joint due to twisting. She recommended the broom stick method and even sent me a diagram through email. What I can't figure out now is why that x-joint just slides all the way into the b pole and wont stop. I guess that is my next phone call.

She says after it comes out, then you do the other end. Quite frustrating, as I have to wait for my husband to help since it requires force. I now have to contend with the A&B poles stuck together, in addition to the B & 500 extension. grrrrrrrrr

This is the only issue ive had with mine too. Luckily my dad rescued it and used a piece of wood (like a broom handle) got them unstuck and fixed it up for me. He said i needed to really tighten those two hex screws to stop it from happening again. He tightened them up really tight and i havent had an issue since. For me my pole went like this from doing the side spin and not tightening those hex screws enough.
