How often should I clean my pole? I heard some say after every use, others- only when its making slide and not stick..?

If in a studio always clean between dancers. If at home you can choose...some like a dirty pole, others wipe it down every few tricks. I suggest deep cleaning the pole 2 times a year. If you have brass that means polish, I use Brasso, then clean the polish off real good.
