I have an X Pole about 6 years old and I've had to put it up and down a couple of times during that time to put new floors. I have it up and I have the 2 bottom screws lose b/c I want it spinning...but its not spinning smoothly. I have to grip it and work hard to spin it. Any suggestions?

Are you certain it's plumb? Did you use a level when you put it up? If so, I have found that my pole doesn't spin freely if I have over tightened it when installing it. Try shortening the pole a little bit and see if it gets better!
