45 mm poles

So I just got off the phone with x-pole. I was asking them when the 45 mm  brass poles would be getting to the US, and they said mid-June (YAY!) I asked her about 45 mm and doing inverts, etc. She said it is better to do a 45 for anything with hand grips as your main support, and that 45 mm poles are now becoming the "standard." Apparently 50 mm are becoming "old." I thought that was interesting and that I'd pass the info on to my fellow pole girlies. I'm kinda excited. I can do fairly decent leg grasps on my 50 mm TG, and some spins, but I think a 45 mm brass pole would be so much better for me for some of the crazier moves (being a sweaty girl.)
