1st try!!

I am soo excited! have been so scared 😕 to try the bow and arrow and tonight i finally did it! 🥂 1st try to was not nearly as scary doing it as i imagined asked my boyfriend to spot me so could give it a try he says hold on and goes downstairs while he's gone i have a moment of courage and decide to run with it before i lose it I grabbed a big pillow, threw it on the floor, and just went for it there was a moment of disappointment when couldn't figure out how to grip but then i did it!! ☀️ i was amazed you should have seen my face my boyfriend came in and says "good job" he's like i heard you say "i can't believe i did it ... i can't believe i just did that.." lol sorry to make such long story of it but wanted to record so could post and share the experience but as said was spontanous ( yes i know thats spelt wrong ) well hope you all are enjoying the holidays stay safe

yay!! congrats!!! its always so exciting when you get a move you've been working on for awhile. thank goodness nobody can see me after i get a new move down- i jump around 'raising the roof' and acting like a fool it's so exciting 🙂

ya I run around jump up and down or I'm in complete shock I actually did it i jusy sit there for a second stunned (like with bow n arrow just sat there for a second saying "i can't believe i just did that.. i can't believe it.. lol ) The shoulder mount succses story was classic i was so super excited a i flew downstairs and flung the door open so hard and fast my boyfriend actually jumped out of his seat (said i scared the s**t out of him it was great 😂

I'm the same way when i get a new move that i have been struggling with . Like a week ago when i finely got the knee hold . i have been trying to get that move for months . and when i finely did it for the first time . i was jumping up and down like a crazy person . and my 9 year old little girl was there and we were high fiveing and whooping and dancing around the room . i ran and called my hubby just to tell him and i text my mom a pic of it . it was insane . i know my family thinks I'm crazy when i act like that over a pole move ... but they don't get what i feeling of accomplishment it is ...lol

Congratulations everyone 🥂 ... I just had a happy moment myself today! I finally was able to do a pretty full split Jade...I'm so excited. It was one of the moves I had been working on just before I found out I was pregnant but had never been able to do the full split. I'm so happy 🥂 🥂 🤓

😀 Congratulations ladies! I'm on cloud 9 too, I've finally have a solid knee hold, but still not quite confident clasp my arms over my head to add some drama, and thanks to Veena's advice on the jade split, I have a confident grip to stay balanced (definitely need to work on that flexibility in that right calf) 🫡

awww! poles that's too cute! is your profile pic the knee hold you were talking about?? i've been trying to work on the star and the knee hold too but im always slipping off my pole! congrats on your split veena!!!!! that's so exciting! congrats too ducky, that's wonderful!!

Wow sounds like everybodys doing great! 🥂 The knee hold is something I haven't tried to hard to get so far as find very painful to attempt, 🙁 but hope to start on that once have got some other things down Great job on the Jade split 🌸 that is one of the moves I really want to get I can "sit" on the pole upside down (picture sitting on floor w/legs straight in front crossed at ankles but upside down on the pole ) dont know if can get into Jade that way... Will def have to work on flexibility as would like to get legs straight as possible 😉 I just got the star recently things i can think of that might help is to remember to really grip hard with your leg like trying to to touch your foot to your butt to get a really strong grip, of course be sure you or your pole are not slippery (lotion/oil/sweat) and bracing your other foot against the pole really helps have you tried in boots? sometimes I use boots when trying something that requires a hold like that (vinyl material really has a great grip on the pole) until I build the strength to do it without (like when first started on spinny mode could only do moves with boots on but now don't need them) hope this helped somewhat.. 🫡 great job everyone!!!

Pole i never thought to use boots before, that's a great idea to stick to the pole better. i generally don't dance in heels or boots because i dont feel like i have control of myself- i barely can walk in them let alone dance!! but i think that i might try that; thank you for the good tip!!! what is the Jade split that you guys are talking about?? is it a middle split??

what is the Jade split that you guys are talking about?? is it a middle split?? the jade is a inverted split on the pole.. like doing a side split on the floor but upside down on the pole and using no hands!! I think I might be brave enough to try it in my next video, yikes 😲 we'll see. Its sooo cool to hear how everyone is progressing 👍 👍

Next I want to conquer the knee bend - and also an aerial invert (as in, turn myself upside down, when I'm already on the pole - not from the ground. It's much easier to push off the floor. I have pathetic ab muscles, I can't even lift my shoulder blades off the floor when I try to do a crunch!) Good luck to everyone! 😀

georgia is that you in that pic??? i've seen one of that girls youtube video's before- she does this move called the superman fall, it's so cool!!! im so jealous of what a good poler she is 🦌 good luck on those moves btw, the aerial invert im still working on too. we'll get it down in no time!
