I really enjoy poling but I find that my weight henders me or makes me scared to do some things on the pole. i am 5’4" and 240lbs . I am currently trying to lose weight and incorporate some poling into burn some fat and losing weight’ Do you have any suggestions on things I could do on the pole, diet, or other exercises that would help with weight lost so I will feel more comfortable with poling?
Oh Cream….you’re going to get so many good comments LOL. Just wait till the pros get a hold of this thread.
I’m excited to hear the good info you’re gonna get. I know a bit about weight loss and general exercise but as far as the pole is concerned I’m a noob. I do know that you shouldn’t feel like your weight hinders you. It’s your strength that hinders you and that’s improved by practice and building strength. I know women that weigh more than you that can do just as much as thin girls because they’re strong.
do the moves and you’ll get some good cardio in (burn calories) and build strength. Build the strength and you’ll grow the muscle. Grow the muscle you’ll burn the fat…..aaaaand weight loss starts in the kitchen. Diet is a big part of weight loss.
Don’t worry about big show boating moves. shimmy around the pole for 30 minutes and see if you don’t work up a sweat! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif
