I use my X pole on my 12ft vaulted ceiling but the ceiling has a flat spot at the very top. If your ceiling comes to a point then you can’t use the x pole. Platinum stages does in fact sell a special mount for a vaulted ceiling. If you do go with that brand I would suggest buying brass….I had the Platinum stages high polished stainless steel for my first pole and it was always very slippery. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif I have never tried their brass poles but brass does have more grip.
