    Hey!

I'm working on my CKR, the Reverse grab spin, and my Basic invert.

I'm trying to prettify my Carousel spin, my side sit spin, my climbs and fan kick.

And I'm going to try to make myself a routine so I can learn to incorporate more of my repetoir into my dancing.

I'm focussing on getting my handspring and increasing my flexibility right now, but I'm also working on the flag invert, marion amber, rubber aisha, and anything in true grip.

I'm working on Shoulder Mount, Caterpillar, Ayesha, and Bow and Arrow.  I would enjoy practicing/learning with someone else that is trying to get these moves (:

I'm also working on superman, aysha (which I can get – now chest getting my chest further and further away from the pole), and perfecting cross ankle release.  Oh, and dancing!  I'm always working on turning all of it into fluid movement.  Sometimes I practice spinny, and I have a lot to learn in that mode!  It's like starting over!

Got an itching to try Half Handspring.  Tried it before I watched veneea's lesson, watched it and now need to work at it correctly.  Also went back to basics for shoulder mount, was doing it but with more kicking into it than I would like and lost it anyway, so am backtracking.  Oh, and headstand, which seems to be getting better (thanks sexygirl for your pole jam help the other night!).  I hope to get over fear of working on handstand! 🙂  Great thread!

Just got back from gym and started working on Jade, Superman and T-G Aysha again! It is amazing how every time all the moves feel like they are coming together with the practice. Most importantly when your body has got some rest and is warmed-up, everything works so much better.

New lessons from Veena sounds exciting. I am new and am having fun with the ones already posted.

I love this topic. I am also working on: twisted grip handspring (Exciting progress.  I really want to master this move. I will be a SuperWoman once I can do it! Some days I can handspring up, open legs in "V" and hold it a few seconds. Feels great. I can feel the balance and spring in my body. And other days, my lower body feels very heavy and I fumble around getting up in the air and slamming down immediatly.  But getting better.) Also working on extended butterfly. This move is a toughie for me. I think I am doing it and then watch the playback on my camera and my legs are not right. And finally, Aysha! I love doing it. I love the look of it. It is starting to become a move that I can do all the time. Now I am working on holding the pose longer. Next will progress to doing more with my legs in the pose. But right now, I can hold it : )

Hookedonpole, I too really want to do handstands against the pole! I can do headstands…..so I think, "Come on, it's just the same in a handstand only with lengthening your arms. But, my body isn't cooperating with my brain on that one…..for the moment.
