west ohio pole jam?
is anyone else on here in the west ohio area? think anywhere from toledo, findlay, down to columbus…i live near findlay only about an hour and a half to columbus so is anyone else in the area who would want to put a pole jam together? i wouldn’t even mind doing it at my place but we only have space for one pole…anyone interested please reply it would be so great to get together https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_albino.gif

I am 90 minutes pretty much from anywhere you are are talking so depending on when I am game.
Are there any studios near you? I know there is one opening in Sheffield Lake but that is a cruise from you. I also know of Dolphin Dance in Columbus and possibly one other in that area.

I’m from Cincinnati but depending on dates I will be about 1 hour south of Akron in a small town visiting husbands family. Otherwise I could drive if its a date I could do. Wikipole.org has a list of pole schools in Ohio. That would be fun if we could get together. I know there are more Ohio people on here so maybe we will here from them soon.

I am from Dayton and there are a couple out here that I know of. Femme Fatal Fitness studios in Springboro and Centerville. I don’t know how far that is for all of you, but that’s what is in my area. It would be nice to meet some of you girls!!!! I never get to go to the ones in New york and Cali. You know??? That’s just out of the question.

does any one know how much it would cost to do it at a studio? would they let us just use the space and poles or would we have to have a teacher? i have never been to or arranged a jam before… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_albino.gif

It depends on the studio. Many times they have open pole or you can book a party. Instructors are whether you want them or not but again depends on the studio.

Ooooooh! Oooooooh! I would love to do this! If you find someplace please let me know–I’ll GLADLY drive in! I am a ways east past Columbus. (FYI, Dolphin Dance in CBUS has a positively GORGEOUS studio space.)

I know for a fact that I am going to be in Columbus at the beginning of March but seeing as it is only 1.5 hours away I can do something pretty much any weekend.
Dos anyone currently go to Dolphin?

Again, depends on the studio. Some do not let "outsiders" come to open pole (if they even have it). Best thing to do is call, or if you already go to Dolphin, inquire while you are there.

As far as I know, there’s no official "open pole" times, but I’ll ask the owner the next time I talk to her. It would be so fun!

OK…so we are definitely going to be in Columbus on the Arnold Weekend (March 5-7). Looking at maybe hitting Kickstand Pub either Friday or Saturday night….not confirmed yet. The place has live bands and has a pole right up front in front of the stage.

Saturday Night…it is ON!!!
The band that is playing is Controversy.
I will send my cell phone out by PM. This is also the weekend of the Arnold so Columbus is going to be crazy…not sure how much is going to filter out to Westerville.
I am also going to start a new thread for this.

The band isn’t actually controversy it’s Radio Tokyo and I’m very good friends with the owners…and if you look at the pic above we play at Kickstand all the time lol. My soon to be old studio is only 15 minutes away from Kickstand and if anyone wants to come jam that day let me know and we can set it up (fyi, I’m not chargin since it’s just a chance to get together).
