too sad to pole right now….
Posted by tarah on July 23, 2011 at 4:15 pmhello all of you beautiful ladies https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif thursday evening i got some tragic news that a very dear friend of mine was killed in a plane crash on sunday. he was a pilot, and was flying with his friend who needed a safety pilot for a long distance flight. it was a small single engine plane, and the motor died shortly after takeoff. I know this doesn't have to do with pole, but in a way it does, because i just feel too sad to get on the pole right now! I wish I could express my feelings in a dance, but am not able to get in that space. maybe it will come soon…. xoxo

i am so sorry to hear this news 🙁 i post tons of un-pole related things on here (and as a result everyone knows way more than they need to about my crotch) so don't feel bad the veeners are always here for each other no matter the topic. i will keep you in my thoughts and i know pole seems impossible but it can be great therapy to put on a sad song and just dance without the camera on. <3

So sorry dear. I know it's hard. Right after I had a whole TON of stuff hit my fan (I actually just posted a thread related to it), I had a melt down and had 2 days where I literally did no eating or sleeping. All I did was cry. My family forced me to go do things that I normally loved and even those things I had a hard time finding the same joy out of (like going to the beach and seeing my weird choco lab swimming like a tug boat and my mutt having to be lured in the water with big rocks.) Eventually it did help going through the motions. I still struggle, but you have to remember that you are still here and you have to enjoy your life while you are here. You should definately ake the proper time to grieve, but don't lose your loves.

yes, sensualscimitar, i completely agree… and there is a kind of depth in grieving that makes it possible to connect with these beings who have left the earth plane, the love is still totally there. this experience compares only to when my grandmother died. don't worry, i'm not going to go into a depression,or stop poling! it's just like you said, taking the time to feel….

My thoughts are with you. I had 2 deaths 1 week apart this month. I had trouble getting my pole groove for a bit myself. It will come when your ready.

Oh, I am so sorry this has happened. Just take the time to grieve and take in the news. It takes time to process things like that, especially when it is so sudden. Give yourself time and get back into life and poling when you are ready. I am thinking af you for all it means…

thanks ladies… @PlatinumAni – so sorry to hear of your losses. that's really alot to handle in such a short time. but we can't give up our poling, lol… and Madfelice, it means alot. it does take a time to process, I don't think it's meant to be hurried or "gotten through" quickly. everyone needs as much time as they need.. xoxo

~HUGS~ I'm sorry Tarah… I know how you feel… My best friend died in Japan a few years ago. He was hit by a car while he was riding his bike to work. That guy even stole his bicycle…The saddest part is he was in the Navy, stationed in Japan…however, he only had 3 days left before he was suppose to send home for good.
I was a wreck for a very long while…..
Tragic incidents happen…but I believe time will heal. Be strong and keep his memory alive.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friend's family. ~BIG HUGS~

thank you all so much…. you ladies are the best! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif
@Mechie, thank you for sharing this. that is so terrible what happened to your friend (and you). so tragic…. my friend will always be alive in my heart. the strangest thing is that the connection feels even stronger than when he was physically here. i feel lucky that i had the chance to see him in CA in march. it had been four years since i had seen him, but we always kept in touch by phone, email, sending pictures to each other…. now i keep two pictures of him – one on my altar, and one by my computer, with candles…. it is comforting somehow…. sending hugs back…. 🙂
