Mine came with a Base, Main Pole A, Main Pole B with an X-Joint, One small extension with an X-Joint, a larger extension with an X-Joint, a dome connector, the actual dome, six of the adjustor screws, and four of the static/spinning screws, and one large and one small hex key. So, 10 pieces for the actual pole, not including screws and wrenches. Oh, and carrying bags! It’s quite a few, but it’s really secure and easy to put together when you’ve done it a few times! http://xpoleus.com/documents/files/X-Pole%20Technical%20Support/X-Pert%20instruction%20manual.pdf
If you scroll, on one of the pages it has all the parts listed (:

Legs the number of pieces you’ll use will vary according to ceiling height.

Yes I was told that I wud need 4 pieces plus 3 xjoints. The more pieces the more flex Ill feel. Should I chose a room with lower ceilings ?

That’s up to you, flex doesn’t bother me. I have a brass 40 xpole at about 11 ft and it has flex but I use a permanent mount and it’s been great. The thinner the pole the more flex it will have too, as I said having flex doesn’t bother me.

Legs4days, I would say to stick with the room with the taller ceiling, because if your name matches your body you will enjoy the extra height 😉 I don’t think the flex difference will bother you at all. Any and every pole will have flex, its part of the safety design. Personally, I love a tall pole, and with the X-Joint design you are going to be safe and sound. Stick with the taller one and let those legs play!
