I can't do the shoulder mount anymore! When I got it the other day I did it like 10 times in a row and I tried doing it last night and this morning a few times and I can't...I'm sooo sad. I was so excited I thought I nailed it...and it was pretty easy for me to do it the day I got it...so I don't know what's going on. But I am sad and wanted to complain so you all get to listen hehe 😜

e-cuddles. I think we've all been there. I lose it some days and can't even do a fireman, so I lie on the floor and do the floor starfish pose for a bit. 😂 I thought you'd had a hissy fit at someone.

I think I've done that with every move I've learned - could do it great when I got it, and then went into a slump again. I think part of it was probably just adrenalin of being able to do it the first time that you were able to do it so much, then your body went into recover mode. Try it again over the next few days and I'm sure you'll be able to do it; just don't overwork yourself! 😜

The exact same thing happened to me glitter!!! I got it 1st time last Wednesday in class and I figured that Id be able to do it loads then!! I tried to do it Thursday: nothing. Friday: nothing. Saturday night I had friends over and I figured my body would have recovered and rested and I should be able to do it (I wanted to show off) and NOTHING!!! I tried over and over and over!! I didnt bother trying Mon or Tues cause I wasnt on the pole at all. Tried yesterday: nothing! Then today I did a really good practice and I got it twice...out of about ten tries!! Ugh! WTF like!!! Maybe someone that does it regularly can explain this to us!! It makes me sad that you're sad! 🙁

I think this happens to everyone...especially when they are working on new things. We need to let our bodies rest so the muscle memory can kick in. Glitter you did not lose your sm!! It's still there! You just have to coax it out again! 😀

no worries glitter, i STILL cant get the sm and its the one move i want to get the most. sometimes we just have bad days and stuff; idk.....don't beat yourself up though, you'll get it back, i know you will!!!!
