If i remember correctly, Trena is going on her honeymoon tomorrow (or is it next thursday? 🤔 ).. Trena i hope you have a wonderful time with lots of romance and fun! i'm so happy for you & can't wait to find out where you go! i'll be even happier if it turns out you come to greece, & i promise i'll try not to steal you away from Derm for too long.. lol. ok i promise i really wont. Have a good & safe trip, i'm sure you'll have an awesome time wherever you end up going & we'll be waiting to hear about it when you get back! 🥂

Ok Im at an internet kiosk in the airport and I was gonna do a thread to tell you guys where Im going on honeymoon and then I found this!!! Azriel you little sweetheart, you're so cute!!!! I love you!!! ****hugs**** Some of you already know this, but anyway, the hubby (Derm) organised our honeymoon and decided to surprise me with the destination!!! Cue the "aaaaaaaaaaaw's"!! I had been trying to guess where we were going and it turns out my guessing skills are crap!!! So here it goes: We're going to EGYPT!!!!! 🏛️ 🏛️ 🏛️ (HA there's actually a pharoh icon! Webmaster you truly are a legend!!) 🥂 ☀️ 🥂 ☀️ 🥂 OMG Im so frickin excited!!!! I cannot wait! I am sad however that I dont get to go to Greece and meet the beautiful azriel! Maybe some day though babe!!! 😀 When I get back I'll let you guys know how it went and what Egypt 🏛️ is like!!!I'll miss you all on Friday but I'll be thinking of you! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 🌸 🌸 🌸

I love that he surprised you, that's so romantic! Have a great trip Trena, can't wait to hear about it when you get back. All I can think about is that walk like an egyptian song.. 🏛️ ..i will be doing a little bit of that for you.

Awww trena don't worry, (*sniff.. i'll be ok..*) i'm sure we'll meet up someday! That's so cool you're in EGYPT, my best friend went there a couple years ago & loved it! I'm sure you'll have (or rather, are having) an AWESOME time! Hope you get to ride a camel 🦌 & take lots of pictures!!! we'll miss you in chat, but soo happy for you! 🏛️ 🤓

Hey gals!! Been back from the honeymoon for a few days now but havent been on here much cause Im trying to get my housework sorted!! Ugh!! Worst thing about coming home from holidays!!! 🙁 Egypt 🏛️ was awesome! I had the most wonderful time! Its so beautiful there. ☀️ We were in a really gorgeous hotel. It was quite an unusual hotel, the rooms werent all in one building. Instead they were like little villas with your own private balcony. We were right by the beach where the water was just so beautiful. It was crystal clear and you could see fish swimming around. (Sea water in Ireland is cloudy, you cant see a thing in it!!) Also because its the Red Sea it had a high salt content so you could just float about all day without worrying about drowning! The pool scene was also beautiful. The pool itself was reeeeeally clean which is a big thing with me!! It wasnt really packed and we were able to get sun loungers in a good spot every day. 🥂 🥂 Food was gorgeous, we dined out in a different restaurant every night. We went to a niteclub which was BRILLIANT! They had an R n B night which suited me perfectly cause its my fave music!! 😀 One of the things I wanted from my honeymoon was relaxation and I certainly got that! I didnt have to lift a finger all week! It was one of the most relaxing holidays Ive ever had. Any other holiday we've been on, we've always went site seeing and barely took time to just chill. Because I wanted to be near the beach, Derm booked the holiday on the coast (obviously). Cairo, where the pyramids are, is not near the coast and if we were to go see the pyramids we would have had to be up at 4am to catch a plane from Sharm El Sheik to Cairo. We would have been on the plane for about 2 hours and then after we had seen the pyramids we would have had to walk around Cairo town for about 5 hours!! And then our plane would bring us back to Sharm El Sheik for 10PM!!! And all this would cost us €410 ($580)!!! So we decided not to go. We will go back to Egpyt and stay in Cairo and see the pyramids sometime in the future though. Oh funny fact: Im very pale skinned and I dont tan easily. I burn so I wear high factor sun screen. In Ireland and most places I get teased a lot about about my pasty skin but in Egypt I was considered exotic!!! 😲 Derm was not impressed at the attention I got from the Egyptian men!!! 😂 Anyway the honeymoon was fantastic! I loved every minute. Derm is awesome for organising the whole thing! I missed James (my son) like CRAZY of course!! We havent been away from him for any more than a couple of nights since he was a baby so it was a bit of a shock to the system not having him with us! He barely missed us at all though! He was spoiled rotten by his grandparents (on both sides) and his uncles. Anyway Ive rabbited 😳 on enough now so I'll leave it at that! P.S. Sissybuns we did have lots of romance! Its amazing how much romance you can have when there's no child around to interrupt!!! 😂 😂

There it is! 👍 I'm so happy you guys had a good time! It sounds amazing and I'm super impressed that Derm organized it all. I love suprises and that would have been right up my alley! I also didn't know that pale skin was considered exotic there! That's so cool! 😁

Aww so glad you had such a fab time! And did you really need to go all the way out to Egypt to be told you look exotic? I'm sure any one of us could've told you that right here on SV! 🌸

SissyBuns: Yeah I LOVE surprises too and Im so indecisive where holiday destinations are concerned that it was lovely for Derm to have all the responsibility! 😂 Yeah I didnt think pale skin would be considered exotic anywhere!!! 😂 Gsylass you're SO sweet! 😀 (Im far from exotic! Im pasty and have loads of freckles!!!)
