Hello! I am 24 and I have a seven months baby.. I am thin but I have cellulite (especially after pregnancy).. It’s more obvious when I’m standing.. I don’t want to lose weight and I don’t have money for surgery. Has anyone see improvement by pole dance? Any suggestion is welcome!

Hello 🙂 and congrats on your baba 🙂 yes yes yes to your question. Start pole and start enjoying it because as you do the cellulite will disappear 🙂 I’ve been poling 2 years now and I used to have a small bit of cellulite on my thighs but magically it’s disappeared now and I haven’t been doing anything other than pole. I don’t use any creams etc. and that’s only after two years 🙂 hope this helps!! X

I think that pole will help with your cellulite…. Because after you gain so much confidence from your sexy new moves and embrace wearing teeny little pole panties you won’t worry about silly little dimples on your behind. Everyone has cellulite, unless your photoshopped :). Embrace your womanly body and happy poling!

I am thin and have cellulite too! Pole dancing and toning up have improved it greatly. I still have a couple areas on the back of my thighs, and I have noticed that it’s appearance is usually reflective of my eating habits. I eat healthy and it is less noticeable, I eat junk, and it seems to be more apparent.

That being said, the biggest way pole dancing has helped in the area is I have learned to accept and appreciate my body. I don’t focus on my flaws, I am empowered by all that my body can do. No body is perfect, but they are all beautiful! Hope this helps!

Congrats on your baby! I’ve got cellulite too, it’s often a genetic thing so don’t stress about to too much. I find mine looks better when I’m hydrated and eating well, I don’t worry about it though.

Congratulations on your baby. Pole helped me lose almost 80lbs! I still have some spots of cellulite and a littlelstomach skin (ah, my thighs and stomach…) Like others have said, though, I focus on how good and strong I look now rather than those spots. 😉 keep poling and you will look and feel great.

This is a blog entry on cellulite where you’ll understand why you have them: https://gokaleo.com/2013/03/06/cellulite-its-time-we-all-just-get-the-hell-over-it/

Many say that training helps reducing them, I don’t know exactly what is the process behind it, if the connective cords mentioned in the blog can gain more elasticity or something.

    Maybe our medical students/doctors know?

I am thin but have cellulite also 🙁 I use nivea’s “goodbye cellulite” gel and serum and it helps a TON (esp the serum, although it can be a little greasy on the skin it does instant wonders). I’m sure any exercise you do (poling or any other activity) will help also. I used to be about 80lbs heavier than I am now and am in the best shape of my life. I know at this point, though, I probably have to just accept the little bit of cellulite I still have.

I think it’s also helpful to choose flattering clothing that you feel comfortable and beautiful in. When you feel confident and sexy and you KNOW you look damn good, you hardly notice your little “flaws” (and usually, no one else notices them at all!). Good luck, and congrats on your baby! 🙂

Im saying I had it bad. Big dips on my thighs. Im taking it now to help flush toxins out. Pole does help you gain more muscle in your legs

vkissme, be careful when taking herbs and meds when you are pregnant, be sure you’ve check with your Dr or midwife to see if it’s safe, just because it calms to be natural doesn’t mean it’s ok to use if you’re expecting. Also it’s not toxins that create cellulite, the blog entry that Lina shared is pretty spot on to what I have read about cellulite, so you could take a look at that too if you like. 🙂

Cellulite comes from eating processed food. If you stop eating that u are going to be right. Veena were are u from? Do you still have a school i mean like a place not just the web site

The foods cannot be the main reason, obviously. Because then the guys would have it too. And some women say that even when they suffered from eating disorder and were totally skinny they still had cellulite. And seriously, in that state they didn’t eat much at all.

From what I read on stripperweb weighted squats, lunges and deadlifts as well as eating clean got results. Also here is a youtube vid of someone who says she got rid of her cellulite

Some men does suffer from cellulite. It Is not common due to high levels of testosterone. If you inject yourself testosterone you are going to get rid of cellulite but become masculine. Skinny girls dont eat processed food free diets. They are skinny just because they eat few calories.

Cellulite comes from fibrous tissue that grows underneath your skin and in between your fat cells. there are no exercises or types of food that will make that fibrous tissue go away. However, if you eat healthy and exercise, you may lose body fat, which may make it less noticeable.

I have it too, on the backs of my thighs and my butt. I keep thinking it will magically go away until I catch a glimpse and am like ‘damn’. It really doesn’t bother me, it is what it is I guess lol.

I heard before that 95% of women and 5% of men have cellulite! Another unfair statistic. Haha! So your definitely not alone.. Cellulite is also cause by lack of circulation, you will notice the less exercise people do the more cellulite they have, pole will certaibly help and if you start off easy
with 10 squats a day and 10 lunges on each leg – no weights (make sure your form is correct) I am 100 percent that your cellulite will disappear and you will have fantastic legs and ass! I am a firm believer eating clean helps any problem you have with the body! I had cellulite but im fairly sure I dont have any now! I am skinny but I think my upper thighs are not in proportion at all, But its so funny what you notice about your body, my pole friends think I am mad! And love your body, its capable of a lot, and you just had a baby! Yay!!!

There have been periods in my life when I’ve eaten practically ONLY crappy food (was never too kitchen-bound:)), crisps and doughnuts but I was always someone with only little cellulite.

Now when I train it’s even less. I cook and don’t eat much fast food, but still a big amount of candy and similar gets my attention every week.

I love this part of the article that Lisa shared:
“And here’s another thing, for the single women reading. Once a man has seen a couple real-life women naked, he knows that real-life women have cellulite and stretch marks and jiggly thighs and other normal little traits that the media tries to convince us are flaws. Men who expect women to be perfect are men who have more experience with porn and magazines and blow-up dolls than real-life women. Any man who judges your worth on the basis of the presence of cellulite is only doing you the favor of letting you know that he doesn’t have much experience with women, and that he isn’t worth your time. There are plenty of men out there who know what real-life women look like, and who will value you for who you are and not the dimpliness of your thighs. Do yourself the favor of not wasting your time on the former.”

Soko I’m hoping you see that we just want you to enjoy and love your body the way it is. You created another human, that’s pretty amazing!!!!! xoxoxo

I agree AnnVann!! I get frustrated with the amount of money companies make off of their lotions and magic potions for “cellulite” cures! I hope that someday as women we can realize its normal and there’s nothing wrong with it, it doesn’t need fixing, but can fluctuate depending on diet and exercise. It’s very similar to stretch mark issues woman have, they happen, and it’s not something we need to spend tons of hard earned money on to make our bodies “presentable” to others. I’ve ALWAYS been thin, it’s how my whole family is, but we still have cellulite and stretch marks, you can’t see it on my videos because of lighting and video quality. I think we would be better off spending our time and money on pole dancing! lol

Thank you to the girls who also offered alternative methods for improving appearance of cellulite!

ALL WOMEN HAVE CELLULITE! Every single one. It is a part of being a woman. You cannot get rid of it. As our bodies age, our bodies change as well. My suggestion is to accept your body as beautiful. Cellulite is nothing to be ashamed of. I am mega puckery and I don’t care.

I got over my self-consciousness of cellulite from pole class. there is this other amazingly sexy pole dancer in my class. she is sexy, hot, flexible as shit, and just an amazing entertainer. I noticed that she had cellulite like me, but when I looked at her, all I thought was, Oh my god! she is so freaking hot! that made me realize that the same could be true for me. it’s weird, the more I looked at her, the more I even liked her cellulite. my perception has been forever changed. 🙂
