Mine was fireman! I thought I had died and gone to a really fun and dizzy heaven!

Not exactly my first trick, but my first inverted trick (besides the invert itself) was as the inverted crucifix. Check out the video (my first ever), I was so super thrilled even though I only let go for like a half a second. The moment of awesomeness is at 5:30. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3DRb1nxGjY I watch it and laugh now… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

interesting! My 1st was chair spin, how it took lots of strength just to spin! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

I think it was either fireman or front hook spin. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_compress.gif

First spin was a carousel.
First trick was a cross knee release.
First invert was a scorpio.I was a wee bit ambitious. Looking back, I’m glad I didn’t hurt myself. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif

The first time I did a fireman I was giddy as all hell. When I climbed the first time I was in shock I could actually do it. Now I can climb that pole like no ones business!!
-
Mine was the fireman also. I’m not as far as inverts yet!
My first trick was hooking my ankle round the pole and leaning back… think it’s called a fish-hook drop -
First transition: pirouette
First spin: fireman
First trick: I’m not sure…
First invert took me forever and then inverted crucifix (I’m cautious and it takes me a while to get move regardless. Oh well. ) I’m happy when I do get them! -
First spin: fireman and side spin (I still remember being giddy with excitement!)
First trick: cross knee release (I remember thinking "holy s***!)
First invert: chopper (thought it was the coolest thing ever!)Ahhhh reminiscing!

My first move ever on the pole was a shoulder slide too the ground and I thought it would kill me! My first spin was the firefly (fireman) and that got me addicted!!!! My first trick was the crucifix (right-side up) and I thought I’d NEVER get it and my first invert was the cross knee release…which I nailed after MUCH effort…and promptly fell out of because my thighs were so sweaty! Thank god for crash mats!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

First Transition: Pirouette
First Spin: Fireman
First Trick: Climb and sit
First Invert: Still not quite there yet. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif -
I think my first move was also a fireman…I remember being shocked when I figured out the concept of momentum to swing myself around the pole! It took me ages to invert, I used to only be able to get the ankle on my outside leg to make contact with the pole but then I would slide down, I couldn’t figure out how to hold on long enough to let go with my hands, how embarrassing! Such a long way I’ve come, I’m glad I deleted those beginner videos…terrible! lol
