    Hi everyone, I’m new here.

I’ve been doing pole for a couple of months now, usually only about once a week for an hour/hour and a half, and I’m really enjoying it. However I am frustrated about not being able to practice in between classes and would absolutely love my own pole.

I live in short-term rented accommodation and firstly I only have a tiny flat which I share with my partner and two guinea pigs (who have a prettyy big cage because I don’t want them to be cooped up).

    My main questions are:

    1) How long does it take to put up and take down the poles? Because if I can sort out a space to put it, it will have to be put up and taken down before and after each time I want to practice as there is no open space where it can just permanently sit unfortunately.

and 2) Do the poles leave any marks on the ceiling and/or floors? I know on the website it says they don’t but I thought I’d ask actual people! We have wood flooring (I’m not sure if it’s laminate or what), and our ceilings are white, so I’m particularly concerned about it leaving a mark up there that we’d have to pay for when we vacate.

    Thanks in advance 😀

Hi MaddyAdventures, having owned and used X-Poles myself in many different locations in many years prior to working for the company I can tell you that once you learn how to set them up properly, you can take the pole up and down as needed and it takes about 5 minutes- you get to be a pro 🙂
They poles do not leave marks on the ceiling or floor, however I have noticed in my personal experience that if you have a white drywall ceiling and there is dirt or dust on the silicone part of the upper dome, this can leave a dust ring on the white ceiling- easily cleaned with a magic eraser/sponge or just paint over it if needed.
Just make sure you set up the pole carefully and properly and take the time to learn how to do it right the first time you set up, and you are good to go!
