I buy my shorts from Lulu Lemon…. Though really expensive stuff, it's well worth it!  I'm actually not sure if you've got stores around in the states, but there are a bunch of them here in Canada.  YOu might actually just have to order them online.  I buy the "Boogie Shorts"

Just fyi for anyone going with lululemon shorts. Get the Boogie shorts, not the Boogie On shorts. Boogie On is an older style that is normally offered in just all black, but you still  seem to find them all over the place. I don't like them because they have a narrow 1" waist band that digs in rather than the 2-3" waistbands that the Boogie shorts have. Yes, it's silly to have names that similar.

I have a few different kinds of lululemon shorts. They're okay. If the pants and crops work for you then they are great, but my build isn't great for the pants or the shorts. They fit, but the pants/crops I always have to tug up after moving in them much and the shorts either ride way up both in the legs and waistband, or the fall in the waist and ride up in the legs. I got to try all sorts of styles and size cause I worked there for a while, my shape is just stubborn (yay well padded bum and little waist!). However, I know tons of people who love em. Try em on, do some squats, high kicks, etc in em (trust me, no one's gonna think you're crazy) and see how they work.

I'm still in search of good shorts. I know pole skivies and mika don't work for me. I'm eyeing the brazil shorts from bad kitty or some of the sweet vixens (I love that her manaquines are so curvy..it gives me hope that they might work out, plus the colors are fun). But, like JiggaLuv and Madfelice, I'm prob just gonna end up making my own.

Being a 32DD on top, I have a hard time finding tops that fit my ribcage AND cover my girls with no peek-a-boo when upside down (that don't squish me into painful oblivion).  I recently discovered the Fiona sports bra by Moving Comfort – I LOVE THAT BRA!! I got mine at Athleta.com in Flamingo, and love it so much I'm buying another!

I've been poling in a pair of Cheer Shorts I got at Target for $5 a year and a half ago when I first started.  I just bought a couple pairs of Mika Yoga shorts – the Mikaela and the Kiki.  They both seem to fit okay – Mikaelas have great crotch and booty coverage.  The Kiki's are smaller all around with a scrunch butt, and I'm not sure about them yet.  I'll try them out on the pole soon and let you know!

I went around shopping for some more shorts just yesterday.  The problem with my Lulu Lemon Boogie Shorts is that they sit way above my belly button, so I've got to fold down the top.  I do this because I am super short and my belly button to my pelvic area is significantly shorter in length than an average female.  When I fold down the top portion of my shorts, they end up being super tight around my waste and creates an extra bulk which gets in the way when i do some stretches.  Utterly annoying.

I went to Triple Flip and bought a pair of little girl's shorts.  I'm not ashamed to say I can and do shop at little girl's clothing stores https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif  I bought the "scrunch shorts"

I shop at Lululemon for tops.  I also shop at Bad Kitty, Etsy and Snaz75.com

I also buy stuff sometimes from my local pole studio.  I hope that helps.

Sorry I don't have much to contribute to the conversation. I just have one pair each of the Mika Lucia and Mikaela shorts, one Mika Tula top, and a Fila bra from Kohl's.

A few months ago I ordered a UV reactive metallic bikini (brand is Indyglo) from beatdropscloset.com. The pictures look cute but I don't recommend it.  First, the one-size-fits-all fit is tremendously huge, so if you are tiny don't expect it to be secure enough for competitions or anything. Second, they took two months to ship my order and judging by the pages of 1 star reviews on the Internet I discovered after placing my order, they usually take several months to ship an order. Also, whenever I asked for status, the status was always "we'll ship in the next few weeks." The second time I asked, I also threatened to open a dispute on my credit card charge. They finally shipped it, but I never even got a shipment confirmation nor a definitive statement from customer service that it had been shipped. It just showed up in the mail one day.

I love Badkittyexoticwear.com, snaz75.com, mikayogawear.com, Yandy.com, and I also wear boy short briefs from Walmart OP brand (usually 2 for $5) and I’ve gotten bottoms from Cirillas & Lovers Lane. My sports bras I get from Target-they have the designs & racer backs that I really like.

Most of my gear has now come from Target for poling. I love the Champion C9 sports bras, plus they have in their bulk bins really cutie panties for $5 a pair.

I'm like Ewa Tran … the Lululemon Boogie Shorts does not work for me.  I found that not only did they rest really high on my waist (i'm short-waisted too), but they rode up my thighs and gave me camel-toe!  YUCK!!  They also gap anytime I did a vertical split move. Not good at all.

I like PoleSkivvies butterfly shorts and I just ordered me a couple of BadKitty Brazil scrunch shorts which I'm looking forward to trying.

One comment I have to make and I hope I don't offend anyone:  I spot a LOT of girls at the studio I pole at and I can't tell you how many whoo hoos and butt cracks I've seen when spotting girls in the Aysha or any type of vertical leg splay handstand.  Ladies … please please PLEASE wear underwear under your shorts or be postively certain that the leg holes of your shorts do not gap!!  For the sake of your spotter if for nothing else!  I've seen right into the shorts of some girls that just wear the short boybrief-type or even right through the ones that are actually boyshort underwear. (Of course, I'm talking about shorts that are not specifically for pole fitness)  This does not make me a happy camper, especially since my face is usually right up to their crotch. i wear the bad kitty brazils because they have extra panels sewn in on either side of the center crotch panel– absolutely NO gapping. shudder. i'm a teacher, i have seen way too much pubic hair and i would never inflict it on others. ladies– JADES. be careful of your grooming if you are going to be doing a JADE. PLEASEEEEEEEEE. oh and they make my butt look cute 🙂

lulu shorts give me diaper butt and camel toe also 🙂 it's not just you!

I have some bad kitty, mika, and pole skivvies and they are all great.  I bought some Zweet and some Onzie at the Pole Convention and I'm enjoying the fabric and the patterns.  They're made for bikram yoga, so they are pretty versatile.

Update on my pole wear – I know this is late coming.  I ended up sending Mika Yoga's Kiki shorts back – they were just a little too small all over, and I wasn't comfortable with the amount of cheekage and skinny crotch coverage.  I really like the Michaela shorts, also by Mika Yoga.

I've also gotten a pair of Sweet Vixen Couture's Fold-Over shorts – I LOVE THEM.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE them.  I have curvy hips and a big butt for a white girl, and these stay around the tops of my thighs, tucked in right under my cheeks and DON'T BUDGE without being too tight.  The waist is super soft – no muffin top! I can fold it down in the front and up in the back so there's no crack showing either.  They are by FAR my favorites – I want to buy a dozen more!

I've also gotten a pair of shorts from Vertical Edge, with corset lacing on the sides.  They're a little cheeky, and ride up my butt a little, but other than that have nice coverage all over.  Hope this helps you girls when you're looking for shorts!

I love Mika!!! Can anyone recommend a pair of their shorts that are lowest rise? I have the mikaelas but I usually fold them down (I have like a midget torso lol). They're having a sale right now too!! Other than the that they are the best pole shorts I have.

I also really like the cheap yoga shorts from Rue 21. They're Victoria's Secret Pink-ish, quality isn't great, but you can get them really cheap. They're shorter and lower rise than Pink yoga shorts so I like them better, and think they're more flattering.

I buy shorts from sex/novelty shops sometimes with the entertainer wear, but you have to be reeeally careful with those. I have a couple pair that are great, but a lot of them have horrible crotch-revealing problems lol.
