I got my samples of itac 2 and 4 from Peter on friday and finally had the chance to try it out today. I decided to try the level 4. I was warmed up from a burlesque class with my other instructors, and applied itac to hands and let dry for at least a min. I noticed an immediate feeling of "dryness" Or "waterproofing", my hands didn't feel sticky though. My grip was not much better than usual, and I ended up dowsing my hands in REI rock climbing powder which drys my hands out immediately, but only for 1-2 tricks. I think I may make a chalk bag for it and see how that works.

Has anyone tried using rosin? Either crystal or spray form? I'm definitely thinking of trying Tite Grip as well.. LOL. I also have some Platinum Grip on the way so I will let you know if that works at all.

I've used rosin (crystal) a fair bit and I love it! I use it at my studio but I keep forgetting to buy some to use at home!

I have a lot of problems with grip and with sweaty hands, the rosin is awesome for body – be careful not to use tooooo much on your legs or they will stick so much that you can really hurt your skin and almost tear it with some moves!

I don't find it very good for my hands though – almost makes my grip worse once they start sweating with rosin on.

glitter — have you tried the vinegar trick ?  i learned over the weekend during our X-Pert certification that just plain old white vinegar closes up the sweat glands in the mitts…. you will surely smell like a salad, but might be worth a try ?

I’m in the US. Where can I gt samples of the iTac? All the sites I’ve seen are in Aussie!!

I’d been using Mighty Grip, it helps but only ONE move at a time. I need to wipe my hands in between moves =\

Mighty Grip really is not going to stop sweaty hands. No one product will work all the time for all dancers. One should have a couple of different grip aids in their bag at all times as temperature, humidity and body chemistry will be different at different places and/or times.

That said if anyone wants a sample of Mighty Grip just send an email with your address to sales@mightygrip.com

Glitter have you tried "Dry Hands" . I find that itac2 gets really greasy on my hands after a little bit. It works on my lower legs though. I like might grip too over dry hands. (make sure you let the dry hands dry first and then you have to heat up your hands to get the might grip to activate. Don't use too much might grip)

I think because my environment is humid and warm here. Some people can use itac and have a great response from it.

    Good luck at your performance!
