I LOVE my (7) pairs of Glitter Heels by Tiffany (Tiffany Hayden from West Coast regionals 2010) Most of her line is clear acrylic with the glitter color of your choice on the platform…she has every color under the rainbow and will custom blend for you including holographics!!!  She will also "Glitterise" any heel of your choice that you send to her for 40$.  I can't say enough about how much I love them and I get constant compliments from everyone who see them.  For your first or only pair you probably want to get plain black or clear acrylic so that you won't have to worry about your shoes or the pole while you are learning/praticing. I like Elle brand.  Have fun!!!

    Pleaser Kiss 201

I love how there's NO strap and yet they stay on your feet. Yup. I have 3 pairs. lol! I have a couple others but some are hard to walk in or fall forward or are too high or uncomfortable.

I just got a new pair thanks to HoP and I am in LOVE!!! http://store.houseofpole.net/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=711%2DChrome

They are very comfy!  The ones w/o a strap I will buy a size down and rub some lotion on my feet and get my foot in.  (then wash my hands right after so I can pole!) Those suckers wont go anywhere!

Quote TrixieLovett:  "I find Pleaser to run just a bit too narrow for me if I've got to wear them for any extended period of time.  I find Jante to run a bit wide once the shoes have warmed to my foot.  Regardless, look for a shoe that has a suede (or faux-suede) footbed so your toes don't poke out over the edge."

So glad you mentioned this, I have wide feet (my hubby calls them Flinstone Feet) and was wondering if there are any other brands that are more friendly to those of use with wide feet?

And LOL at your toes going over the edge, that is SOOO my pet peeve, I hate it when peoples toes are dangling over the edge!!

Momma, it seems for me that Ellies run wider than Pleasers.  I too have wide feet but go with Pleasers one size smaller just because either brand after one wearing I have toe hang.

I just found another website with a lot of cheap Pleaser shoes-

    http://www.thelacygirl.com/stripper-shoes.html

A lot of the cheaper ones are only available in larger sizes.  If you use coupon code LACY you get an extra 10% off.
