Just started this challenge this morning. hoping to keep up with it since time is limited in the morning. I figured I usually workout at night so doing this in the morning would help spread it out a bit so I’m not doing it all at once. I’ve never actually stuck with a challenge so hoping this will be my first. I’ll take before and after pics and might post at the end of the challenge. Feeling surprisingly energetic for early morning.

Alright, it’s not August right now….. but I’m bringing back the AB challenge in July here! Who’s ready? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhDQzOk4weM

I am in! I will do the best I can given my recent recovery issues, but something is better than nothing. Fingers crossed I can do the full 30 days on schedule.
-
Keep in mind guys, this is a Challenge unlike most of my programs, it’s meant to really push, so don’t feel discouraged if you can’t complete everything, it’s a challenge! 🙂

YAY!!! I’m in too!!! Perfect timing for my beach vacations next month!!!!Thank you Veena

Cazzzz, you know, I have typically had difficulties in that area as well. Especially with the cradle spin. While I have always been able to do it, it wasn’t strong and sometimes, it still isn’t. But I have come leaps and bounds since I picked poling back up. I have also found that strengthening the hip flexors has lead to vast improvements which I am sure, with ab/leg lift work that is likely included you will get a lot of that with the 30 day challenge as well. I will be sure to post before and after pics. I just hit the half way mark in my weight loss journey right now. Down 35lbs!!! So…for me it will certainly be exciting to see the results on day 30!

@ veena: I’m so not discouraged. I’ve sucked at them for two years now – since I started pole. Lol. I’ve done this challenge straight through several times on my own, too. I figure if I keep persistent action, it’s only a matter of time. Pole is a very interesting somatic adventure. 💕

I’m in as well! I actually just decided recently to start it so today was day 5 for me!
-
I have been off my pole for a while doing think this is a good way to begin again. I am in starting tonight!! Thanks Veena!!

Just saw this today – 7/1/2016. I won’t be posting pics, but I’m excited to do this.

I’m in. Going to go do day 1 now. Trying to talk my husband into joining me…
-
Finished Day 1. Doubled the reps because the listed number of reps for Day 1 is too easy for me. Now off to the health club to do weights for other areas of my body, 30 mins of running on the treadmill, and 30 minutes of stretching. Looking forward to Day 2 of the Abs challenge tomorrow as well as practicing my pole dancing.

I caught up yesterday, so I’m on day 3 with everyone else!!! I love these. I used to hate camel pose before, it was just so hard, but I love the feel of it now
-
I want to start this tomorrow, do I do all the exercises in the video every day for 30 days? Or Do I do knee tucks for day 1, then the next exercise for day 2 and so on?
-
Just seen the calendar, since I don’t have my pole up any suggestions on what I can do to replace knee tucks?
-
Lol, I was just about to say, there’s a calendar up there somewhere!!
-
Yeah, Neesy, camel pose used to be hard for me too. But I got better with it after practice. Now I hold a full camel pose for about a minute at a time.
-
Try replacing knee tucks with a different abdominal exercise you like. 😊
-
Might be worth investing in a door frame pull up bar, significantly cheaper than a pole but you can do knee tucks, leg lifts, pull ups etc so good for overall pole conditioning.
-
Yeeey! I am also trying to catch up with this challenge 🙂 Just finished day 7!
-
Do you do each exercise full number in a row, or you do a fewer shorter circuits until the full number is complete? (For example, when you do 20 knee tucks, do you do them all 20 in a row? Or 65 leg lifts in a row?)
