USPDF predictions?
Ok who wants to share their predictions about USPDF next week? I hope Karol wins because I've followed her from her very beginning but at the same time she has some pretty amazing competition so I really can't wait to see how it turns out! But let's just keep it friendly please I didn't intend to start this thread as an outlet to voice our opinions on the quality of the contenders etc…i think they all have equal talent across the board but each excel individually at things so that's what makes it a toss up for me

I don't know who all the competitors are, and agree with you, glitter, to keep this friendly. When it comes to opinions it can get tricky. We can share in the accomplishments of the competitors and the fun those of you who are going are gonna have. I know someone who is performing, have gotten to know her more recently and wish the best of luck to Shelly Lamb.
Again, I haven't looked into who all the competitors are and wish them all the best of luck and to have fun 🙂

Just saw that Natasha Wang is competing, hubby and I saw when she one 1st place @ USPDF 2010 West Coast, she is an amazing dancer. I also met Estee briefly, she is beautiful and also an awesome performer. Wish them and the others much luck.

I admire Karol Helms greatly and have followed her career since i became interested in pole. I hope she wins, i believe she will. If i had to predict who may place 2nd….prob estee??

For some reason I couldn't find the list of competitors on the uspdf site, so I'm not sure who else is competing, but Natasha Wang is my absolute favorite of the moment! I just adore her style, and hope that someday I can move like she does. She is my current pole crush! She'll surely do fantastic at the comp.
I love love love Karol too. She has inspired me for many years now, and still does.
Ahh, it's so difficult to predict, or pick favorites. They're all so talented and fabulous in their own unique ways. I just say: may the best woman win! I've been looking forward to the routines posted on YT all year! Last year they were only on there for a day or so, but I managed to see them all, and download most of them to my computer. So if anyone can video any of the performances, please post on YT! So, best of luck to all the competitors, you all deserve to win. And I hope everyone who gets to go this year has a blast, and posts lots of vids from the competition and workshops.
Ow, and what about the predictions for the Amateur division? Some wonderful dancers and tricksters competing there as well!

All of the pro competitors are AMAZING and their styles are so different. I honestly can't even make a prediction as to who will win. It's going to be one heck of a show! The "amateur" finalists have MAD talent, too!! It's going to be very interesting to see who wins. I wish USPDF allowed videos like EMW did. I'm not going to the comp but wld love to see the performances. Oh well 🙁 Best of luck to all the competitors!!!

I have been day dreaming about this competition and so sad to not be going. There are a few ladies i dont follow online but have seen their videos or live and are amazing
My feelings are so mixed and love so many of these competitors
I am in the same boat with glitterhips and love karol bcs i have been watching her so long.
Leigh ann reilly because she has great flow and style and does so much for the pole industry
Then there are others like Natasha, shelly, and allison who all have been regulars on forums and youtube who i have immense respect for and have seen them transform in videos.
Denise Brown floored me at the first nationals, wait and watch all of her videos, and think it is great she is back.
Estee has amazing transitions and strength.
Mina's natural sex appeal is magnetic
Oh my head spins thinking about it. All of the ladies are amazing.

It's probably not much of a mystery that I'm cheering for Karol to win the Pro National title; she's the entire reason I started poling in the first place.♥ I don't know much about any of the others competing in the pro category except for Leigh Ann and Estee (whom I also adore ♥).
For the amateur competition my favorite is Melanie Kady.♥ I like Nadia Sharif a lot too. Still, as with the pro competition, I don't know much about the other girls. There's a whole lot of talent that's gonna be on that stage and I suppose it could be any woman who takes it home. It all depends on who's got it together and their pole-mojo on full volume.
I think Alethea Austin said it best: "I love it when you see someone perform and you just know it's their night."

Natasha for Miss Trixster. And I love Leigh Ann’s sexy moves so maybe she’ll be Miss Sexy this year but you never know what they will all bust out. They are all incredible women. I wish they have Miss Sassy and that will be Shelly Lamb. But what do I know. I’ve been out of touch with the pole community for a while due to work.

@ Pomegranate Yeah, I noticed that Rebecca Starr's name wasn't on the list of competitors and was wondering about that too. Maybe she had some other comittment? 🙁
Anyways, just to let you know, I read somewhere on the USPDF site that they will not be awarding the "Miss Sexy" or "Miss Trixter" titles starting this year. The previous competitors who hold those titles are the last who ever officially will (for whatever reason, it's not clearly stated as to why).

I think Rebecca is out of the country – maybe touring with Lyralicious? I thought Rebecca was in it too until I looked and thought about how I hadn't seen her post anything about it.
Miss Sexy and Miss Trixter are a shared second place so maybe they are going to instead do a do a 2nd and 3rd place? Perhaps as things go they are going to provide a different ranking system?
It's a tough competition in both divisions and I can't say I really have a favorite – I know they've all been working really hard. It's going to come down to who is having the best night. I think every single person has what it takes to be the next champion I just think as always it comes down to who's having the best day on the pole as we all know that can be conditional based on body chemistry and weather and nerves. It's getting more exciting and tougher each year!

In that case, my prediction is Natasha. That girl is the most determined person I’ve ever met and when she sets her mind, she goes for it. I know how hard she has worked and I’ve seen all the injuries on her feet that has come about in practicing over and over until it’s perfect.

I'll be cheering loudly for Karol! I've met and learned from her many times now, and she is just such a wonderful woman, and absolutely amazing with pole. I really hope she can take the title this year <3 I will be in the 3rd row, jaw to the floor watching so much talent on one stage I'm sure!
I saw Rebecca Starr just arrived in Korea today, and said she is bummed to not be at USPDF according to her FB. She has some amazing talent as well!

Rebecca had a lyra gig in Korea and so she had to withdraw from USPDF… So disappointing but I am sure she will be back with a vengeance 🙂

They are all wonderful. Watching in person last year was SOOOOOOO awesome I am so looking forward to it again. I always love watching Leigh Ann and Estee. As to who will win, no one can really answer that. For amateur, I LOVE watching nadia sharif. her spins are superb!!

According to everyone that saw the show, every one of the girls did incredible! I'm not surprised, they had a lineup of some really fabulous dancers this year and I heard all of the amateur performances were also really good!
